We're hiring a Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and audit preparation.
Responsibilities- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Review budgets and provide financial insights to program managers.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with annual budget development and financial planning.
- Support annual audits by preparing documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on financial reporting.
- Identify and implement accounting process improvements.
- Assist the Controller with special projects and finance initiatives.
- 3+ years of accounting or audit experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience with financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations.
- Experience supporting annual audits.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills;
Sage Intacct experience is a plus. - Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
