Job Description
Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) – locum tenens to support clinic coverage.
Start date:
ASAP. Available shifts:
Day. Pay rate: $101.85 – $110.25 per hour.
Monday – Friday.
Provider 1: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Provider 2: 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Outpatient clinic.
Clinical Responsibilities- Clinic-based coverage: follow‑up patients and some new patients, appointments at 3, 6, and 12 months.
- Coordinate emails with ancillary services; order oncology tests; refill patient prescriptions.
- Follow up on treatment; see patients before chemotherapy.
- Perform bone marrow biopsies.
- See inpatient patients and virtual patients from the clinic.
- Active California nursing license.
- Credentialing time frame: 60+ days.
- Medical or dental malpractice insurance arranged through AMN Healthcare.
