Sales Engineer Trainee – Southern/Central California Territory

Description

We are recruiting a dynamic Sales Engineering Trainee with high energy, passion and motivation. The role provides an in‑depth 6‑month training program at our corporate headquarters in Oxford, Connecticut, covering bearing products, applications, selling methods and effective communication techniques to meet customer needs. During training, you will also visit several of our divisions across the United States.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Upon successful completion of training, you will be assigned a sales territory and home base. In this position, you will be required to travel within your sales territory approximately 50% of the time. As a Sales Engineer Trainee, your primary responsibilities will include selling our products directly to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and industrial distributors.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Strong mechanical aptitude

EXPERIENCE

Experience in technical sales and sales training.

SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS

• Initiative-driven with strong social and interpersonal skills to support external sales
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Time management and strong work ethic
