Bellingham Memorial School - Secretary - Main Office
LOCATION:
Bellingham Memorial School
SCHEDULE: 7:15am - 3:15pm
* extra hours - 5 Days prior to the start of the school year and 5 days following the end of the school year, or as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal throughout the school year)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Secretary for Main Office of Bellingham Memorial School is directly responsible to the
Principal and under their direction is expected to perform a wide variety of
clerical and general office work as required on a day-to-day basis, including but not limited to
drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, handling attendance, and maintaining paper and electronic files or providing information to callers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
High School Graduate. Associate degree preferred.
CLASSIFICATION: AFSCME
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Requires sitting and repetitive movement.
REPORTS TO:
Principal/Assistant Principal

The Bellingham Public School District's enrollment is approximately 1,930 students and an organizational staff of 400 employees. The district is split into the following building grade levels:
DiPietro Elementary (Preschool - Grade
3), Stall Brook Elementary (Preschool - Grade
3) Bellingham Memorial School (grades 4-7) and Bellingham High School (grades 8-12), and Keough Memorial Academy (grades 7-12) is our therapeutic day school for students with special needs.
