Job Title
Manage all phases of heavy civil projects, including sitework, utilities, paving, and drainage
Lead the estimating process: prepare final estimates, perform detailed quantity take-offs, and analyze bid documents
Coordinate bidding activities and attend pre-bid meetings with clients and subcontractors
Evaluate subcontractor quotes and perform cost comparison analysis (subcontractor vs. self-perform)
Develop and maintain construction schedules, budgets, and manpower plans
Review contracts, change orders, and invoicing for accuracy and compliance
Communicate with clients, engineers, and vendors regarding project requirements and clarifications
Supervise and motivate project staff, providing guidance to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution
Conduct project inspections and oversee quality control throughout all phases
Ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety policies
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction (site/roadwork, utilities, paving, drainage)
Strong estimating experience with B2W Estimate, B2W Track, AGTEK, or similar software
Construction-related degree or equivalent field operations background
Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure projects and construction methods
Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proven leadership experience managing staff and subcontractors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain) and valid driver's license
Ability to pass a CORI background check and pre-hire drug/alcohol testing
