Investigating History And Democratic Knowledge Project Curriculum Work - Summer

This position is for summer work hours for the grades 6-8 social studies teachers to unpack/interpret the IH and DKP curriculum and plan the first unit of instruction following the UbD process and framework. All work must be submitted by Friday, August 14, 2026.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Unpack and interpret the Investigating History (gr. 6 &
    7) and Democratic Knowledge Project (gr.
    8) curriculum.
  • Plan and document the first unit of instruction (and second unit, if time) using the district UbD template and the district Unit of Instruction Vetting Tool/Criteria for Success.
  • Qualifications:

  • Must be a grade 6-8 social studies teacher
  • Salary: $33 per hour not to exceed 25 hours
