This confidential opportunity is ideal for an experienced Program Finance professional who enjoys partnering with Program Managers and executive leadership to drive financial performance across high-impact programs.
Position SummaryAs the Finance Manager, you will own the financial management of government programs from award through completion. You will lead forecasting, budgeting, Estimate at Completion (EAC) activities, Earned Value Management (EVM), financial reporting, and strategic program analysis while serving as a trusted advisor to program leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cradle-to-grave financial management for complex government programs.
- Develop, manage, and maintain program budgets, forecasts, and Estimates at Completion (EACs).
- Manage the financial performance of Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost-Plus, and Time & Materials (T&M) contracts.
- Partner with Program Managers to align cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and financial performance analysis.
- Perform financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and variance reporting.
- Monitor contract funding, billing milestones, cash flow, CLINs, travel, material costs, and reimbursable expenses.
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and present program performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, contractual requirements, and internal policies.
- Support inventory reporting and understand Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss impacts.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of Program Finance experience supporting government or defense-related programs.
- Extensive experience managing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts.
- Strong background in EAC development, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience supporting Cost-Plus and Time & Materials contracts.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with cross-functional leadership.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, TM1, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.
- Experience supporting engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracting environments.
- Experience supporting programs from development through production.
Pay Rate:
Up to $62.00 per hour depending on experience
