About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven CNC Machining Operations Supervisor to lead and coordinate machining operations within a high-performing production environment. In this role, you will oversee daily shop floor activities, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, and on-time delivery of machined components that support critical medical device manufacturing.
You’ll play a key leadership role in developing team members, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and optimizing production processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical leader with CNC expertise who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AMWork Environment:
On-site manufacturing environment
What You’ll Do
Lead and develop machining teams, including supervision of hourly staff and Team Leads, while driving engagement and performance
Coordinate production schedules, prioritize work orders, and ensure smooth workflow to meet delivery timelines
Oversee CNC machining operations, including setup support, troubleshooting, and resolving downtime issues
Monitor KPIs, conduct production reviews, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and output
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Kaizen activities, to enhance quality and reduce waste
Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
3–5 years of supervisory experience in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CNC screw machines, setup, offsets, and program editing
Proven leadership skills with experience in employee development and performance management
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
Nice to Have:
Experience in regulated industries such as medical device or aerospace manufacturing
Familiarity with production systems and ERP tools
Background in scaling operations or supporting production growth
