TheOpportunity
We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team as a Lead Provider, responsible for providing exceptional care and making a real impact on the lives of our patients within our urgent care clinic. Lead Providers at ConvenientMD act as clinical leaders for all clinical staff, mentoring and supporting new‑grad providers as well as allied healthcare professionals.

Your Impact- Provide Patient-Centered Care:
- Interview patients, perform physical examinations, obtain, update, and study medical histories.
- Administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
- Administer injections and immunizations, suture, manage wounds and infections.
- Empower patients with knowledge about their health and guide them in family planning and wellness.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare clear, complete, accurate, and legible medical records for each patient.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company and state procedures.
- Adhere to infection‑control policies and protocols.
- Comply with legal and professional requirements, including studying and enforcing legislation.
- Collaborate with a Team: Work collaboratively with other providers and health‑care practitioners to efficiently treat patients, plan dispositions, and ensure timely care.
- Act as a clinic leader, especially when the Practice Manager is not in‑clinic. Provide support and mentorship to new‑graduate providers and other staff.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Act as a preceptor to new provider staff, providing information and experiential growth opportunities.
- Education, Licensure, &
Certifications:- Master's degree and certification by an NP certifying body.
- Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross. CPR, ACLS, or online classes only not accepted.
- Relevant experience: Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills: Willing and able to mentor providers and non‑provider clinic staff.
- Excellent team player: Enjoy collaborating and being part of a strong team dynamic.
- Proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal): Raises concerns proactively and communicates directly with colleagues and patients.
- Compassionate, authentic, and patient focused: Supports patients with kindness and fosters community.
- Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Customer service principles and quality standards.
- HIPAA, OSHA, and state medical practice regulations.
- Relevant drugs, their compositions, and medical uses.
- Non‑pharmaceutical patient care aids.
- Current methods for medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
In order to maintain equity among team members, ConvenientMD has established defined hourly pay ranges for each role. Individual pay is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, years of relevant experience, current market conditions, and budget considerations. The pay range listed reflects the potential compensation for this role within this region. Final compensation is determined at the conclusion of the interview process.
