Plasma Center Technician

This role is truly part‑time
, with most shifts lasting between 4 to 6 hours a day, 3+ days per week
—designed to fit your life. We’ll confirm your availability and shift days and times early in the interview process, and you’ll always be informed about any schedule changes in advance. Our patients depend on the plasma we collect, so your reliability during your scheduled hours is greatly valued. Our part‑time roles are designed with the understanding that flexibility on both sides is key.

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and team support.
• Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Because of exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level
  1), 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear.
• 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.

Location:

USA - WA - Bellingham.

Hourly wage: $19.50, with eligibility for short‑term incentives and other benefits including a 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well‑being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time and up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
