Our client in Bellingham, MA is looking to bring on a Quality Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
  • Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
  • Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
  • Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
  • Develop and implement quality control systems, standard operating procedures and processes to ensure consistent product quality
  • Collect, analyze and report on quality data and key metrics to identify areas of improvement and inform strategic decision making for upper management
  • Ownership of the PSC and WTG quality management system. Tasked with performing necessary internal audits on the QMS and manufacturing processes to identify non-compliance and implement corrective actions
  • Training of WTG quality team personnel on quality standards and processes, provide instruction to department managers, and support quality assurance positions
  • Lead and engage customers to gather product feedback and investigate customer complaints to drive internal improvements as outlined by PSC and WTG Quality Management Systems
  • Implement plans for quality improvement, using problem solving techniques and foster a culture of continuous quality improvement
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
  • Experience leading and motivating quality teams, collaborating with other departments and building strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of quality management software, analytical tools and core quality management principles
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design is a plus
  • 5+ years' relevant work experience
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
