Store Support role at The Home Depot. Position
Purpose:
Associates in Store Support positions are responsible for a variety of non-sales functions. This includes ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required. They must work cooperatively with other Associates, vendors, and carriers, and work productively with little to some supervision. They should be detail-oriented, have proven time management skills, and demonstrate a high level of integrity at all times.
They must respond to operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
- Assist customers in person or via store channels to fulfill orders and provide information on order status.
- Support cashiering, cash management, and program compliance as needed.
- Direct customers to store departments and merchandise.
- Collaborate with other Associates, vendors, and carriers to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform administrative tasks and maintain accuracy in store processes.
- Contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
