The Archbishop is the visible principle and foundation of unity in the particular Church entrusted to him. In a unique and visible way, he makes Christ's mission present and enduring as Shepherd of the Christian Community. In order to fulfill his mission, the Archbishop employs suitable, chosen collaborators (clerics, religious, or lay people). He shares with them the apostolic mission and entrusts various responsibilities to them.

Each position employed in the Chancery helps to extend the ministry of the Archbishop in particular ways as outlined in the position description
General Summary of Essential Purpose:
Provide temporary support to Agape Service Project, functioning as additional administrative support, assisting in seasonal duties and special projects.
Essential Position Duties:
- Update, print, and prepare weekly program documents (schedules, group rosters & paperwork, program binders, etc.) and supplies (curriculum needs, nametags, etc.).
- Manage, inventory, and organize general program supplies and items; purchase restock as needed.
- Maintain central program email and respond in timely manner.
- Aid in maintaining upkeep of spaces and fleet of vans.
- Work in collaboration with the entire Agape staff in operating the weekly Agape Food Bank - set up and operations, directing youth/adult volunteers, back-end operations, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Primary:
- Willingness and ability to support the mission of the Church by extending the ministry of the Archbishop.
- Ability and desire to use God-given gifts and talents in service of the local Church in support of the collaboration between lay and ordained Ministers.
- High School degree or equivalent
Experience using MS Office tools
- Some experience working in an office environment
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Good organizational skills and analytical thinking
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to lift materials and boxes and up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to commit to agreed-upon weekly scheduled hours (estimated 15-20 hours/week) Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
