Myrick recruiting is partnering with a client in Bellingham, WA for a Store Supervisor Position. Industry experience preferred
-hydraulics, pneumatic, fluid power motor control, automation machinery manufacturing, commercial industrial machinery or industrial machine manufacturing
The Store Supervisor provides day‑to‑day management and operational oversight of an assigned store location. This role supports business performance through staff supervision, customer service excellence, and adherence to company policies and safety standards. The Store Supervisor exercises sound judgment within established guidelines and supports leadership in achieving store goals.
Primary Responsibilities- Supervise, train, coach, and support store employees.
- Assist the Branch Manager with hiring, onboarding, and employee development.
- Prepare staff schedules and set performance expectations based on business needs.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, ethics, and continuous improvement.
- Support store financial performance, including margins, expenses, and key metrics.
- Execute company programs, policies, and operational standards consistently.
- Address customer issues, operational challenges, and routine employee matters.
- Ensure accurate documentation, quotations, and business records.
- Support use of the ERP system (Epicor Prophet 21), ensuring data accuracy and compliance with processes.
- Report on operational performance, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and support key customer relationships.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams as directed by leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safety standards.
- Champion MFCP programs and maintains a safe, organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, including at least six (6) months of direct employee supervision.
- Experience in industrial distribution, fluid power, Parker products, or related industries preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record per company policy.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. The appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities can be achieved through a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lead employees and manage daily store operations.
- Basic financial understanding, including margins and profitability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and customer service
The essential functions of this position will require the employee to perform the following physical activities:
- Frequent use of office and warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 70 lbs.
- Regular standing and walking on cement flooring; bending, reaching, climbing ladders.
Work environments may include warehouses, offices, manufacturing sites, and customer facilities with varying temperatures and conditions.
