Architectural Designer

About the Role

RMC Architects is seeking a motivated architectural professional with 1–4 years of experience to join our team as an Architectural Designer. This position offers an opportunity to work on a diverse range of project types while collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and project teams throughout all phases of design and construction.

• Assist project teams through all phases of design and project delivery
• Develop architectural drawings and presentation material under the direction of a project manager
• Produce and coordinate Revit models, drawing sets and project documentation
• Conduct research related to building codes, zoning requirements and applicable regulations
• Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination and internal project reviews
• Prepare permit, bid and construction documents.
• Support construction administration activities including submittal reviews, site observations and contractor correspondence
• Contribute to quality control efforts and maintain project documentation standards
• Possess design sensibilities and critical thinking

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited architecture program
• 1–4 years of professional experience
• Strong graphic, design, and presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively through all phases of project delivery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam

• Experience with Sketch Up, Enscape, Twinmotion or other Rendering and visualization software
• Adobe Creative Suite experience

Core work hours are from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Salary Range: $55,000–$70,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience, plus year-end bonus opportunities.
