Whatcom Hills Waldorf School in Bellingham, WA is seeking a full time, Waldorf trained Kindergarten Teacher for the fall of 2026. This is currently a one year interim position, with the possibility of it becoming permanent.
Whatcom Hills is a fully accredited member of AWSNA and WECAN, serving around 210 students from nursery through eighth grade. Our five early childhood classes students enjoy playing on our wooded campus near Lake Whatcom.
We are looking for a teacher with warmth of heart and desire to work with young children and their families. Our ideal candidate is a trained and experienced Waldorf teacher who would enjoy being part of our dedicated faculty, working collaboratively and with a deep commitment to Waldorf education.

QualificationsWaldorf Teacher Certification or equivalent experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
CompensationOur salary includes increments for Waldorf training and years of experience. Benefits include medical insurance and full tuition remission. Our teachers are supported by a strong mentoring program and professional development opportunities.
LocationBellingham Bay is situated in the Pacific Northwest on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coastal Salish people. The Canadian border lies just 20 miles away. From Bellingham, we enjoy majestic views of numerous lakes and rivers as well as the San Juan Islands and Cascade Mountains.
