Position Title Accommodation Support Coordinator

AboutThe Position
Under general direction, this position coordinates the day-to-day operations of accommodation implementation services for students registered with the Disability Access Center. The role focuses on organizing and tracking logistics for a variety of accommodations (such as note taking support, alternative furniture, remote participation, alternative testing, and future services as program needs evolve) so that support is delivered accurately, on time, and in line with university and accommodation policies.
The position maintains records and tracking tools, collaborates with campus partners, and supports student staff and front-desk operations as part of a broader accommodation services team. This is a strong early-career role for someone interested in disability access, student services, or higher education administration.
The StateHR classification for this position is Program Coordinator.
This is a full-time, 10-month cyclic position.
Required Qualifications- High school graduation or equivalent; and
- Two years of experience in a relevant program area such as student services, disability/access services, higher education administration, or a closely related field that includes coordination of activities or services or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required program coordination skills and knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (specifically Excel for data tracking and Outlook for complex scheduling and within case management systems)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex, step-by-step procedural information clearly and empathetically to diverse stakeholders (students, faculty, and staff) both in person and via email
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift based on immediate student or program needs
