Job Description

Title:

Lead Teacher – Early Childhood Education

Employment Type:

Full-Time

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Compensation: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a classroom in compliance with DCYF licensing standards
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
• Observe, document, and assess children’s development
• Communicate effectively with families and school leadership
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
