The MFGE instructor/classroom support role is a full-time, on-site position located in Bellingham, WA. This role supports instruction in Manufacturing Engineering (MFGE) courses through preparing and delivering lessons, assisting with labs and classroom activities, and reinforcing course objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning instructional materials, guiding students through hands-on exercises, providing clarification on technical concepts, and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.

The role also involves collaborating with faculty on curriculum alignment, monitoring student progress, offering timely feedback, and supporting assessment activities. Additional duties may include coordinating classroom resources, helping with equipment setup, and participating in departmental meetings and student support initiatives.

• Strong foundational knowledge in Education and Teaching, with experience supporting or leading classroom instruction.
• Demonstrated ability in Lesson Planning and Training, including preparing structured learning activities and practical exercises.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse learners and provide constructive feedback.
• Relevant academic background in engineering, technology education, or a closely related field; bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience working with manufacturing or engineering labs, tools, or software is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students, and to promote an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and readiness to manage multiple classroom responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
