Electrical (Low voltage) Designer with AutoCAD skills - Northern WA area
Our client in Northern WA area is a Security System company looking for an electrical Designer with experience in Low Voltage electrical design with AutoCAD skills to design alarm systems and create schematics/diagrams.

Position purpose/core responsibilities:

The Drafter will produce electrical and alarm system designs and drawings in AutoCAD and maintain design department resources (block libraries, etc).

Main Duties:

It is expected that the following duties will be performed in a timely, accurate manner while following appropriate procedures and meeting applicable standards of performance and deadlines.

Create designs and drawings in AutoCAD from engineering specifications..
Ensure designs adhere to company standards and engineering requirements.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of low voltage electrical systems design
Professional AutoCAD drafting experience: 3+years (Preferred)
Able to understand system specification documents and convert these into designs and drawings.
Able to discuss system designs with engineering staff and communicate design intent to customers.
Reliable, punctual, detail-orientated.
Strong computer technical skills.
Effectively communicate with team members.
Ability to shift priorities quickly.
Electrical or Engineering Drafting background.
On-site commercial construction experience a plus.
