Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive land surveys and GIS mapping to identify acquisition needs and potential obstacles.
- Negotiate purchase agreements, easements, and land use agreements with property owners and government entities.
- Prepare and review environmental impact assessments, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, and construction teams to integrate acquisition plans into project schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of acquisition status, costs, and contractual obligations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in right‑of‑way acquisition or land procurement.
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and land surveying techniques.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Washington State land acquisition laws and environmental regulations.
