Job Description Saturna Capital is an investment management firm founded in 1989 and headquartered in Bellingham, Washington. All funds undergo quarterly review by an independent Sharia advisory board, making Saturna a leader in ethical, values-based Islamic finance.
Position Overview This full-time Investor Services Representative role serves as the front-line interface between Saturna Capital and its mutual fund shareholders and retail brokerage clients. You will provide exceptional customer service while handling critical account and transaction operations, translating complex financial concepts into clear, accessible language for investors of all expertise levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer shareholder inquiries via phone and written communication, explaining complex financial concepts in plain language
* Process new account openings for mutual fund and brokerage clients
* Execute and reconcile shareholder transactions daily with high accuracy
* Perform shareholder account maintenance tasks promptly and without error
* Identify and resolve client issues proactively and independently
* Support the team in delivering exceptional service standards across all client interactions
Requirements & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain complex issues clearly
* Self-starter mentality combined with strong team collaboration and problem-solving ability
* Must obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses within the first 9 months of employment
* Must pass pre-employment background check, credit check, drug screening, logic test, and reference verification
Compensation & Benefits Hourly compensation ranges from $24.04 to $30.41 depending on experience.
