Asleep Overnight Home Care Aide​/HCA​/Caregiver - Part Time

Base Pay Rate: $22.30 - $27.18/hr

$19.13/hr when working asleep overnight shifts in Bellingham

$17.13/hr when working asleep overnight shifts outside of Bellingham

$750 SIGN-ON BONUS!

We are currently offering a substantial hiring bonus to new employees. New hires receive a $250 bonus on their first paycheck, after successfully completing a two-day orientation. New staff receive an additional $500 after successfully completing a six-month probationary period.

Provide compassionate, competent care services to individuals with disabilities and seniors in home settings. Assist each client with daily needs as specified in the individual's Person Centered Service Plan. Duties may include personal care, housekeeping, companion care, and dementia care. Behave professionally and abide by the agency's policies and procedures at all times.

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Effectively communicates and understands, reads, and writes in English
• Able and willing to perform the personal care and housekeeping chores detailed in this document
• Organized and efficient
• Able to work with diverse client populations in varied settings
• Treats all clients with respect and relates in a warm, caring manner
• Willing to submit to for-cause drug testing
• Able to meet additional requirements listed in the full job description.

• Perform deep cleaning tasks (e.g. vacuuming, scrubbing the kitchen counters/sink, mopping the kitchen floor, etc.) before going to sleep for the night.
• Perform routine overnight checks of clients, as described in the individual's care plans and/or ADLs.
• Assist with repositioning and/or toileting clients who are unable to do so independently when needed.
• If specified in the individual's care plans, monitor health and safety via audio monitor, wake up and respond to any indication that the individual may need assistance.
• Perform other overnight duties as assigned by management.
