Some vascular positions ask you to perform studies. Others invite you to become a true vascular specialist. At Peace Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, you'll do far more than complete a schedule of routine exams. You'll perform a broad spectrum of venous and arterial studies, collaborate with physicians who value your clinical insight, and participate directly in vascular procedures including radio frequency ablations, Vena Seal treatments, and carotid endarterectomies.

The position supports both Peace Health St. Joseph Medical Center and the outpatient cardiovascular imaging center located on campus.

You'll work with Philips EPIQ systems throughout the program and be part of a vascular service where sonographers are trusted clinical partners, not simply image producers. With an average of about eight cases per day, you'll have the opportunity to focus on quality patient care and thoughtful vascular assessment rather than feeling rushed from one exam to the next. And when your shift ends, life outside of work begins.

• Day Shift (4x10’s)
• Shifts:
  
  6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Predictable four-week rotation that includes only one weekend every 4 weeks.

$50.16 - $75.29 per hour. Actual compensation is determined by factors including experience, education, training, seniority, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

• Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Vascular Technology or Sonography required
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), or ARRT-VS required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
• Two years of vascular laboratory experience preferred

• Perform a broad mix of vascular studies rather than spending every day on the same exam types.
• Participate in vascular surgical procedures including RFA, Vena Seal, and carotid endarterectomy cases.
• An average workload of approximately eight cases per day, providing time to focus on patient care, image quality, and clinical accuracy.
• Enjoy four 10-hour shifts that create more days away from work.
