We have an amazing opportunity for a Parkshore - Chaplain I to join our team! The rate of pay for this role is $30- $40 DOE. Our Chaplains lead by example, help drive a positive culture, and are responsible for providing services of worship, counsel, religious text study, and offer spiritual support and advice to a diverse population of senior adults living independently, in assisted living, or in a health care center.

• Provide spiritual support and pastoral care to the residents/families, recognizing, respecting and addressing the diversity of spiritual beliefs and practices within the community.
• Provide avenues for residents to explore and strengthen their spiritual wellness in all areas.
• Provide moral and spiritual support for residents and families during the end-of-life transition period. to honor residents who have died and bereavement support as they deal with their collective loss.
• Participate with interdisciplinary teams to develop holistic care and support for residents, especially as they require higher levels of care.
• Develop budget for needed supplies, events, activities, and services.
• Develop community contacts in order to refer residents and staff (when requested) regarding counseling, grief support, or other special needs (AA, LGBTQ, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned or may be necessary in an organization having overlapping roles and responsibilities.
