Embark on an exciting contract opportunity supporting students near Tacoma, WA as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the full school year. With two full-time openings, this role offers 37.5 hours per week and the chance to make a meaningful impact in educational settings, helping students achieve their communication and learning goals.

Key

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP in Washington
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families
• Commitment to culturally responsive practices and inclusive support for diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across a range of ages and needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), regularly tracking progress and making adjustments
• Conduct assessments, document findings, and provide clear recommendations
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to integrate support in classroom environments
• Engage families in the intervention process through regular updates and resource sharing
• Maintain compliance with all state, district, and federal documentation requirements

Compensation for this position ranges from $39.87 to $69.87.
