destination one Consulting has partnered with PMF Brands (Nanak Foods) to recruit an HR & Office Administrator for their Bellingham, WA facility.
About Nanak Foods :From modest beginnings, PMF Brands (Nanak Foods) is now North America’s largest processor of traditional dairy-based South Asian foods. Established in 1997, Nanak Foods specializes in the manufacturing of paneer cheese, ghee (clarified butter), yogurt and various dairy-based appetizers and desserts. Nanak Foods manufacturing facilities are CFIA, FDA and EU approved and have Safe Quality Food (SQF) level 3 certification ensuring continual monitoring for quality, safety and legality.
Purpose of the Job:To provide hands‑on human resources and office administration support to the management team at Nanak Foods’ Bellingham manufacturing facility.
The HR & Office Administrator will support day‑to‑day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, compliance and general office coordination. This role requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Human Resources
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks
- Prepare employment offers, contracts, new hire documentation and onboarding packages
- Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding
- Maintain accurate employee files and HRIS records
- Track employee attendance, vacation, leaves of absence and overtime
- Assist with payroll preparation by ensuring employee information is accurate and submitted on time
- Administer employee benefits, enrollments and changes
- Prepare employment verification letters and other HR correspondence
- Support performance management, training and employee engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and health and safety requirements
- Assist with investigations, disciplinary documentation and employee relations matters as required
- Generate HR reports and maintain confidential HR records
- Manage office supplies and coordinate purchasing of administrative materials
- Answer telephone calls, greet visitors and provide administrative support to management
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions and company events
- Maintain company records, filing systems and document control
- Coordinate employee uniforms, PPE, security access cards and company equipment
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for office-related requirements
- Support travel arrangements and meeting logistics when required
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of HR and administrative experience
- Knowledge of employment standards and workplace legislation
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

- Previous HR or administrative experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Experience with ADP or similar HRIS/payroll systems
- Experience with time and attendance systems
- Experience coordinating recruitment for hourly production and skilled trades positions
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety practices
- Experience supporting employee relations, investigations and disciplinary documentation
- Experience supporting payroll preparation and benefits administration
- HR certification or working toward certification is considered an asset
This position is based at Nanak Foods’ manufacturing facility in Bellingham, Washington and supports employees and management within a fast‑paced food production environment.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working closely with plant leadership, employees and operational teams while managing confidential HR information and administrative responsibilities.

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE
