System Administrator

Exxel Pacific is seeking a System Administrator to support and optimize our IT environment for construction projects across the Pacific Northwest. In this role you will administer Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualization platforms; monitor and troubleshoot networks; manage backups, security tools, and user access; and provide Tier 2/3 support to office and field teams. You'll help implement IT best practices, support project technology at jobsites, and collaborate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage resources.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN/WAN and Wi Fi networks.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and endpoint security solutions.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support to office and field staff, resolving escalated issues.
• Deploy, configure, and patch workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Document systems, configurations, and procedures; maintain asset inventory.
• Collaborate with project teams to support jobsite technology needs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
• Contribute to IT process improvements, standards, and security best practices.
