Technical Project Manager

cBEYONData + SMX is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in support of a Modernized Data Science Platform for a Federal customer. This role will support IT transformation and modernization efforts by designing, building, and delivering data-driven solutions that connect business requirements with scalable technical capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing large technical data analytics development teams.

• Manage a team of 10+ developers and functional resources to deliver end-to-end Enterprise Business Analytics solution.
• Work closely with the client on designing the Enterprise Analytics Vision and Strategy.
• Assign and track day-to-day tasks of the team members to ensure that all the deliverables are completed on time.
• Support the client as a Sr. Technical Architect in the design and delivery of the Enterprise Analytics solutions.
• Participate in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and business process improvement activities.
• Work cross-functionally with technical teams, business stakeholders, and Federal customer representatives.
• Support knowledge sharing through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
• This position requires On-site presence at least 3 days a week in the Pentagon.

• Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance are required.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required.
• Experience:
  
  10 years of related work experience managing technical development teams of 10+ resources using Agile methodology.
• Experience working on Data Science projects.
• Extensive experience working with multiple Data Science tools (e.g. Databricks, Palantir Foundry etc..).
• Extensive experience Architecting new solutions to support Enterprise level reporting for large organizations.
• Extensive prior experience working with clients on Technical designs and solutioning to support Enterprise reporting needs.
• Experience maintaining Project Management specific documentation like Risk Register, Issue Log, Change Log etc.
• Prior hands-on experience building production data pipelines, reports and dashboards.
• Extensive experience working with Jira and Confluence.
• Competence with software engineering tools and processes, including estimation, issue tracking, version control, and debugging.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and participate in technical and business discussions.
• Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience with knowledge sharing, including code reviews and clear documentation.
• Driven, self-directed personality with a strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference.

• Experience working with the DoD.
• Experience working with GFEBS or another SAP ERP system.

The proposed salary for this position is:

$140,000-$200,600 USD
