The Airport Compliance Program Manager, in coordination with the Director of Aviation, leads the Airport’s regulatory compliance programs and ensures that all operational duties, efforts, and assigned responsibilities are fully compliant with all Port and applicable regulations. This position serves as the Airport’s primary compliance across 14 CFR Part 139 programs, the Safety Management System (SMS), and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) 49 CFR Part 1542 security program, and maintains the Airport Certification Manual in accordance with FAA and Director of Aviation requirements.
The position also supports the Airport’s FAA and Port capital programs and provides oversight of airport-wide contracts. On a rotating basis, the Airport Compliance Program Manager serves, in an on‑call capacity, to manage after‑hours airport operations and regulatory compliance. Shifts may be assigned as needed for operational efficiencies.
- Minimum of three (3) years of airport operations experience
- AAAE’s Certified Member or the ability to pass the test within 12 months of hire date.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or aviation-related field, or 5 years of airport operations or similar experience in lieu of the degree. Master’s Degree or graduate coursework may be substituted for part of the minimum work experience
