Position: Lummi Counseling Services (LCS) Director

Job Summary

This position will serve as the overall Director of the Lummi Counseling Services (LCS), which includes the Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program and the Healing Spirit Opiate Treatment Program (OTP). The Director will oversee program certification and accreditation, ensure compliance with Lummi Nation Tribal Attestation and applicable state and federal regulations, and manage high‑dollar budgets. The Director will build a high‑performing cross‑functional clinical team that integrates culturally centered holistic healing frameworks, uphold the highest clinical standards, and promote safety and efficacy of services to clients at the highest level.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program and the Healing Spirit Opiate Treatment Program (OTP).
  • Ensure program certification and accreditation in accordance with the Lummi Nation Tribal Attestation, and applicable State and federal regulations.
  • Manage and monitor high‑dollar budgets.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing, cross‑functional clinical team integrating culturally centered holistic healing frameworks.
  • Maintain the highest clinical standards and staff excellence by leading, planning, developing, monitoring, and reporting on program improvements.
  • Provide outpatient recovery services for SUD and co‑occurring disorders to the Lummi community and other eligible clients.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in clinical operations management and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record managing regulated substance use disorder programs.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build and manage cross‑functional teams.
  • Expertise in budgeting and financial management of high‑dollar programs.
  • Committed to quality care and continuous improvement of program goals and service strategies.
  • Knowledge of culturally centered holistic healing frameworks and community partnered health care.
