The Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA)
Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved in the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties.

This position may require additional hours and rotating between shifts based on business needs.

• Plansand assigns work of subordinates.
• Develop sand/or adapts inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, makessuggestionswith regard to procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
• Analyzes facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems todeterminewhat action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
• Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.
• Investigates and determines cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures.
• Keeps manager abreast of significant issues or developmentsidentifiedduring quality assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
• Maintains discipline, morale, and harmonious relations among subordinates.
• Investigates and adjusts personnel problems within area of responsibility. Effectively recommends as to hiring, promotions, wageadjustmentsand terminations.

• Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
• Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safetytrainings.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Three to five years supervisory experience in the Quality Assurance field.
• Working knowledge of HACCP regulations, Foodsafetyand audit procedures
• Bachelor's degree (B.
  
  A.) from four-year college or university
• Seafood industry experience preferred

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $28 to $34 per hour.
