WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our Service Writer, you will ensure that all service department work orders are opened, maintained, proofed, and closed in the most efficient way possible, all while ensuring you provide an excellent experience for our customers.

In addition to Service Writer responsibilities, this role will also function as Shop Coordinator and Field Dispatcher. You will coordinate daily shop workflow to ensure efficient technician utilization, proper job prioritization, and on-time completion of repairs. This includes scheduling shop and field technicians, assigning work orders based on skill set and availability, and adjusting schedules as needed to meet changing customer demands.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for dispatching field technicians, ensuring timely communication of job details, parts availability, customer requirements, and safety expectations. The role requires proactive monitoring of work-in-progress, minimizing downtime, and maintaining clear communication between customers, technicians, parts, and management to drive productivity and customer satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring labor hours, tracking job status updates, supporting warranty documentation accuracy, coordinating equipment transport as needed, and assisting in resolving scheduling conflicts.

Compensation: $/hr (Depending on Experience)
