The Production Technician supports all aspects of production at the Bellingham facility, including assisting the Production Lead with packaging preparation, chemical blending, raw material receiving, and finished product packaging for shipment. This role also involves loading chemical and paper products for company trucks, common carrier, and will‑call customers, and maintaining a clean, safe, efficient facility and grounds.
Essential Job Functions- Support Plant Operations (Production Lead) and assist them in meeting production quotas.
- Operate class I, II, III, IV forklifts safely for various production tasks.
- Follow detailed container cleaning procedures.
- Assist the Production Lead in blending liquid and filling powdered products.
- Package quality finished product and prepare it for on‑time delivery.
- Assist with outbound shipping of production orders.
- Safely move full 55‑gallon drums from one pallet to another.
- Receive and warehouse incoming raw materials.
- Forklift Experience.
- Total commitment to safety and quality.
- Detailed and disciplined in following procedures and instructions.
- Positive outlook and a desire to grow and improve every day.
- Willing to take responsibility to find solutions and improvements for challenges.
- High school diploma (Preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to react decisively (safely) if emergency conditions materialize (appropriate chemical spill and first aid response).
- Able to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to several hours at a time, between normal work breaks).
- Must be able to climb ladders, maneuver chemical drums, and work around various heavy industrial equipment.
- Working with hazardous substances that require proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Be on time during established work hours.
