Be the Voice of the Red Cross in Emergency Operations Centers
When disasters strike, it takes coordinated efforts of government agencies working alongside nonprofit organizations to quickly respond and help chart the path forward. Volunteers serving as
Government Operations Service Associates
serve as direct contact with government partners, often in an Emergency Operations Center or other coordination center, during a Disaster Relief Operation to ensure that Red Cross actions are aligned with the government.
Do you have the flexibility to deploy for two weeks to support communities impacted by disaster? The Red Cross is looking to train willing individuals 18 and older to fill a variety of roles during disaster relief operations. All training and travel expenses are fully covered by the Red Cross.
