WHAT YOU WILL DO:The Energy Services Support Coordinator, in collaboration with the Energy Services Coordinator, is responsible for the daily operations of the Energy Assistance programs and program team, including supervision and leadership . The Support Coordinator provides leadership to the Energy Assistance staff through completing new-hire onboarding, ongoing training and development, and service delivery oversight. The Energy Assistance program team works collaboratively to support the human services community and its efforts to work together to support the needs of low-income people
WORK SCHEDULE:Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provides leadership and supervision for the Energy Assistance team including onboarding, training and development, service delivery oversight, and programmatic support.
- Provides daily oversight of Opportunity Council’s energy assistance programs, including programmatic implementation and delivery; client processing; and ensuring compliance with program eligibility, program requirements, required documentation, and federal, state, agency and other funder requirements and guidelines.
- Maintains current knowledge of all eligibility guidelines, program changes, and procedures for energy assistance services.
- Oversees team’s file and database management to ensure proper recordkeeping procedures are followed, including data and client records confidentiality in accordance with agency, state, and federal guidelines.
- Processes and maintains required paperwork, including statistical records and confidential client records and case notes.
- Performs file and data quality reviews for energy services for completion and accuracy.
- Provides direct services as needed which include appropriate screening, eligibility, determining financial eligibility, problem solving, needs assessment, referrals, explanation of agency programs and services and short-term planning.
- Assists clients with application steps and information in a professional and timely manner.
- Works with Community Services energy assistance staff providing leadership, guidance, and oversight in program implementation and service delivery.
