Locum Tenens Opportunity for Family Practice Nurse Practitioner Near Bellingham, WA We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Family Practice for a locum tenens position near Bellingham, WA. Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week) No On-Call Requirement Work Overview:
Practice Setting:
Outpatient ambulatory clinic within a community health center Contract Length: 3 months, with a possibility for extension Patients Per Day:
Up to 18 patients per day, across all age groups (newborns to geriatrics) Support Staff:
Each provider will have a dedicated medical assistant, along with access to receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, pediatricians, and administrative support. Patient Population:
Primarily underserved populations, including migrants and refugees. Interpretation services are available, though bilingual skills are a plus but not required. EMR System: EPIC Special Procedures:
Includes basic family practice procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.

Must hold an active Washington state license DEA:
Active WA DEA required

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with recent, face-to-face patient contact. Providers must be comfortable with fast-paced, high-volume environments. Language

Spanish-speaking preferred but not required

Experience with EMR Systems: EPIC experience is required Background:
