Position: Unity Care NW - 001 - Family NP - Bellingham

Bellingham has a population of 95,000. It is 1 hour and 15 minutes south of Vancouver, Canada and 1 hour and 30 minutes north of Seattle.

Unity Care NW provides affordable primary medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services for children and adults. With a focus on prevention, our integrated care team provides comprehensive coordination of your health care needs. All of our medical and psych providers are board-certified and provide high-quality health care in a respectful, coordinated, and caring manner for the whole person, the whole family, and the whole community.


The Position

6 month assignment preferred but 3 months is acceptable
Start as soon as possible (credentialing is approximately 5 weeks)
Primary Care Outpatient clinic
36 patient hours per week with 4 administrative hours
Can work 10 hour days or 8 hour days
Schedule could change during assignment depending on patient needs
If working a 10 hour day, the day off may be any day of the week
Once ramped up, 90 patients per week
No Call
Working with Physicians, NP's and PA's
MA's and RN's
Team environment
Epic EMR
Dragon available for charting
Charting must be completed within 48 hours of patient visit
Annual Flu vaccines required (medical or religious exemption must be submitted upon presentation of candidate not after)
Round trip flight provided
Rental Car provided
Lodging provided
