RN - Recovery Room (PACU) | Full-Time (0.80 FTE) Days
Peace Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - Recovery Room/PACU for a full-time day shift position.
Pay range: $45.78-$82.98/hour
, depending on experience, education, seniority, and applicable union agreements. This is a union-represented position and may have multiple openings.
Hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be available.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Document care according to established standards.
- Delegate and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain professional competency through ongoing education.
- Support quality, safety, infection prevention, and departmental initiatives.
Required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Two years of recent Phase I PACU experience in an acute care hospital or two years of recent ICU experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing airway emergencies and hemodynamically unstable patients.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
- Frequent patient handling, mobility, and physical activity.
- Exposure to biohazards, body fluids, and airborne particles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy clinical environment.
