Peace Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team eph Medical Center. This is an opportunity to work alongside exceptional surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical technologists in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.

Part-Time | 0.80 FTE | Variable Schedule

Salary Range: $45.78 - $82.98 per hour Compensation is based on factors including education, training, experience, seniority, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

As an OR RN, you'll play a critical role in ensuring safe, seamless surgical experiences while advocating for patients throughout their perioperative journey.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Serve as a patient advocate throughout the surgical process
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Delegate and coordinate care according to team member competencies
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives
• Pursue ongoing professional development and education opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
• Two years of OR circulating experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a Periop 101 course within six months

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Scrub experience
• Demonstrated expertise in perioperative nursing practice

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative surgical environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
