About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract position for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Trauma care. The Nurse Practitioner responds to traumas, acts as the first responder if the trauma surgeon is in the OR, and initiates response in the ED. Duties include admitting patients to the service line including ICU, assisting surgically, and preparing for and running post-discharge clinics two days a week.
The position involves working both in inpatient and outpatient settings, with shifts scheduled for 3-4 days weekly.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $104.50 to $123.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and formulate care plans for trauma patients.
- Provide emergency response in the ED and during surgical events.
