Seasonal Sales Associate

We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers as a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate. You’ll be a huge part of our success by providing excellent customer service, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love, and maintaining a visually appealing store.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return, using your product knowledge and customer experience skills.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas meet visual standards.
• Work the register, processing sales transactions and driving add‑on sales through BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Assist with planogram changes, including store maps, walls, fixtures, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and partners.
• Help prevent theft and ensure proper store security.
• Support the maintenance of the store by keeping the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Work as part of a team to achieve store goals.
• Complete any other activities assigned by your Store Leader.

• Previous experience working in a retail environment, and a passion for music and pop culture.
• Excellent customer service and selling skills.
• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products with approved equipment, and manage inventory, including packing and unpacking boxes up to 50 pounds.

Pay range: $17.70 – $19.50 per hour.
