What You Will Do:
- Develop sales on existing and new industrial accounts within our geography (I-5 corridor: Tacoma to Bellingham)
- Development/implementation of a business plan that results in increasing our level of account penetration, customer service, margin, and sales.
- Promote NCE's and key vendor's products through proactive product marketing, training opportunities, and joint sales calls.
- Champion our Rockwell Automation portfolio and other offerings.
- Work closely with the industrial sales manager to aggressively identify, solicit, bid, and write opportunities.
- Responsible for all aspects of retaining and enhancing existing relationships with customers, key players, internal specialist teams and manufacturers reps.
- Communicate and learn by working closely with the inside support staff to optimize customer service and maximize account penetration and sales.
- Weekly visitation to relevant NCE service centers to engage with branch managers around account strategy.
What You Will Bring:
- Complete Development Training Program.
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office suite and working knowledge of Solar/Eclipse.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Self-motivated, outgoing, positive attitude, good communicator, team player, professional in appearance.
- Willing to travel and work whatever hours are necessary to fulfill customer needs.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Frequent computer and telephone use.
- Driving to customer offices and jobsites.
- Occasional out-of-town travel.
- Office and jobsite environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, drug screening, credit check, and motor vehicle record review, as permitted by law and required for the position.
Salary & Compensation:
This position is an exempt position and not subject to overtime. Pay is $36,000 annually + Commission Plan.
