Maintenance Technician

Position Details

Union Position, Day Shift – Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Pay Range: $26.36–$32.81 per hour, based on experience.

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems while following safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical assets that impact daily operations, facility structures, and exterior grounds.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on material handling equipment.
• At automated sites, maintain components such as proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, and push buttons.
• Operate and maintain power tools, welding equipment, and motorized lifts to support maintenance tasks.
• Complete assigned work orders and collaborate with team members to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

• Mechanical or industrial maintenance experience; background in building maintenance, equipment repair, or refrigeration is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and ability to read and follow maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using maintenance systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across all facility levels.
• Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments (-20°F to 100°F).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Ability to safely work at heights and around varying noise levels.
