Plumber, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
$45–$55/Hour | Take-Home Company Vehicle | 100% Employer-Paid Health Insurance
West Mechanical is looking for an experienced licensed plumber who can confidently handle service, repair, maintenance, and installation work across residential and commercial properties.
This is a field-based position for a plumber who values independence, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can diagnose problems without needing constant supervision. You'll dispatch from home in a fully equipped company vehicle and have the support of an established team behind you.

You'll handle a variety of plumbing service and repair work, with responsibilities spanning both residential and commercial environments.
- Diagnose leaks, drainage problems, water issues, and plumbing system failures
- Repair and install water lines and plumbing systems
- Service and work on wells and well-house plumbing
- Install and repair toilets, sinks, faucets, disposals, dishwashers, and related equipment
- Perform plumbing inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs
- Troubleshoot problems and determine the appropriate repair solution
- Complete plumbing installations and system modifications
- Work in accordance with Washington plumbing codes and company safety standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and property owners
- Complete assigned work independently while communicating with the team as needed
This is an experienced, licensed plumber position
. You should be comfortable taking ownership of service calls and completing work with minimal supervision.
- Current Washington State 01 or 02 Plumbing License
- 3+ years of professional plumbing experience
- Residential and commercial plumbing experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of Washington plumbing codes
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional technical education or an associate degree is a plus.
Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Rotating on-call responsibilities are part of the position.
