CDL Driver

Position Purpose

The CDL Driver at SRS ensures safe, timely delivery of building materials to job sites, verifies inventory, follows safety protocols, and maintains high service standards. This role supports operational efficiency and fosters strong customer relationships through professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness.

• Safely operate Class A/B vehicles within a 200-mile radius, following DOT regulations with no overnight travel.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards and collaborate with customers for material placement.
• Support yard operations and uphold OSHA safety standards.

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate forklifts safely.
• Background check, drug test, and E‑Verify compliance.

• Hazmat endorsement.
• Vehicle maintenance skills and fleet management system experience.
• Multilingual abilities.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or CDL
  
  B) with Air Brakes Endorsement (Required).
• Current DOT Medical Certificate (Required).
• Forklift Certification (Preferred).
• FMCSA Registration (Required).
• Pre‑employment screening completion including background check and drug test.

• Strong safety compliance through inspections and DOT/OSHA adherence.
• Operational efficiency via accurate inventory handling and timely deliveries.
• Excellent customer service with professional on‑site coordination.
• Adaptability, detailed record keeping, and effective communication in English.

Hourly wage typically ranges from $23.51 to $29.90 per hour. Overtime, performance‑based bonuses, commissions, automobile and fuel program, and travel expense reimbursements may be available.
