ABOUT

THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Ready‑Mix Truck Driver to join our team in Bellingham and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a concrete mixer truck to transport ready‑mix concrete to various job sites, serving both homeowners and industry clients. Your strong driving skills, commitment to safety, and customer‑focused approach will be key in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

As a customer‑facing representative, you will play an essential role in building relationships and providing outstanding service to ensure a high‑quality delivery experience for our customers.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Safely operate a mixer truck to transport and deliver ready‑mix concrete to job sites.
  • Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers, ensuring consistent and reliable service.
  • Provide a positive and hassle‑free delivery experience for customers.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including time logs, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other personnel to optimize delivery schedules.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts and Saturdays as needed.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Education Preferred: Relevant industry training or certification in commercial driving.
Field of Study Preferred Transportation, Logistics, or related fields.
Required

Work Experience:

Previous experience as a ready‑mix truck driver is a plus.

Required Training/

Certifications:

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean FMCSA Clearinghouse record;
Drivers Abstract REQUIRED.

Required Technical

Skills:

Strong understanding of traffic laws, vehicle regulations, and safe driving practices. Ability to operate a ready‑mix truck safely and efficiently.

Travel Requirements: Frequent travel within Bellingham and surrounding areas to various job sites.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Navigate the City of Bellingham and surrounding Whatcom County areas to maintain on‑time deliveries.
  • Work collaboratively with Logistics, Operations, and fellow drivers to ensure efficiency.
  • Unload materials at designated locations while following safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while operating the truck.
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and regular cleaning of the truck (inside and out).
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Comfortable working at heights when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a safety‑first mindset, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company protocols.
