Pharmacy Financial Analyst

Overview

Brown & Brown/Risk Strategies National Pharmacy Team (NPT) is a team of 200+ teammates across various functions, focusing on pharmacy consulting, analytics, and copay maximization.

• Use proprietary financial analytic tools and Excel to analyze client pharmacy spend and cost drivers.
• Develop methodologies, analytics, and outcomes assessments using Pharma
  
  Logic
  
  TM system output.
• Manage all financial aspects of RFP/procurement and market‑check processes, including data gathering, financial evaluation, assessment of PBM RFP responses, and creation of summary reports and presentations.
• Assist with PBM contract reviews and negotiations, including financial modeling and review of language and terms.
• Support client presentations and reporting on utilization, trends, and key findings.
• Manage, mentor, and train a team of financial analysts and conduct peer reviews of RFP evaluations.
• Ensure project timelines within the financial team are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve system and process efficiencies.
• Train new employees on financial projects and evaluations.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline with analytical focus.
• 2-4 years of experience in pharmacy‑benefit analytics consulting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
• Knowledge of pharmacy and medical data.
• Experience with Tableau or a similar BI package.
• Experience in MS Access or understanding of relational databases.

Base pay range: $109,400 – $175,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and paid holidays.
