Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's operational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility's equipment.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair production machines and facility.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and calibration on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
- Perform other related duties as directed
Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of company policies and business practices including industry standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO requirements, health and safety.
- Team player capable of successfully interacting at all levels with peers, seniors & subordinates in the successful resolution of day-to-day operations issues.
- Capability to work independently, handle changing priorities and short time constraints.
- Ability to work hours, as required, that are appropriate to completing projects and tasks as assigned on schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic working with production machinery.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Tool making experience a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
