Quality Inspector

Our client in Bellows Falls, VT is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a growing company!

Your qualifications for the Quality Inspector position are as follows:

• High School Diploma/GED, Associates Degree preferred
• 3+ years inspection experience
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector is a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency with measurement tools
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of GD&T, shop math, metrology, and blueprint interpretation
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why’s and other quality practices
• Ability to stand and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift

As the Quality Inspector your duties will include:

• Inspect incoming materials
• Inspect in process and final products
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Select appropriate measuring tools and understand correct operation
• Record data in computer system
• Ensure company processes are followed and recommend improvements as appropriate
• Collaborate with other departments to meet organizational continuous improvement objectives
